The farm in the Preseli Hills, South Wales, Pembrokeshire

Tir Bach was originally a small dairy farm, since becoming a campsite in 2003 the farm's 26 acres have become a magnet for wildlife and birds. Expect to see many birds here including Red Kite, Buzzards, Swallows, hedgerows full of the small birds that love to nest in them. A wonderful place to bird watch or listen to the dawn chorus without distracting background noise, insects and Bats also thrive here. At dusk listen carefully you’ll hear some of the bats ultrasonic squeaks, look up and see them going out to feed. On a clear night with very little light pollution here you’ll see amazing sky’s our galaxy and beyond. The hay field meadows grow without chemicals so there are many unusual wild flowers, which you’ll also find in the woodland and hedgerows.
The farm is a small retreat for anyone wishing to escape to a beautiful green place, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, relax and reconnect with nature. With just 12 large camping pitches varying in size you can choose how much space you want, and our unique Glamping yacht Marshala is available to rent.
Animals we have here on the farm, are pigs, geese, turkey’s, chickens, a mule, Shetland pony and the friendly farm dogs. We have a large barn for wet days and events, inside is a BBQ, fire pit, table tennis campers may use. The wood fired pizza oven is also in the barn, which is lit once a week during the school holiday’s to make and cook your own pizza. The old milking parlour has been converted into showers, toilets and a washing up area, washing machine and tumble dryer. Electric sockets, freezer and fridges free for campers to use, Wi-Fi.
